East Coast Church is different and we want you to know exactly what to expect before you get there. We are deeply committed to creating an environment where everyone can fit in and feel great. Here’s what to expect and how to prepare for your East Coast experience.
(If you have children, please see our “Children's” page for information on how to pre-register and check in your children.)

As our guests, we want you to have the best of the parking lot! We will reserve the closest spaces for those who are our guests and our parents of small children. When you arrive you will normally be greeted by one of our volunteers before you reach the door. If it is raining at a program, we will do our best to bring you an umbrella to avoid that annoying “wet look”!
Our volunteers will guide you to our welcome area where complimentary coffee, water, and snacks are available. The program you attend will include our live band with words projected on our video screen. You may join them by singing along, or just enjoy the music from your seat. The band usually performs 3 or 4 songs and is followed by a message, normally from our pastor. Our messages are innovative, creative and exciting. Unless you’ve been up for the past 36 hours straight, you will not be nodding off during this part of our program.
At the end of the message, feel free to hang out and meet the pastor, or just slip out. Our regular attendees and members are challenged to take their guests to lunch and field any questions you might have about our church or the talk you just heard. (That’s right, hit up whoever invited you for lunch!)
Whatever you do, don’t run out and buy special clothes to attend East Coast. Our pastor and staff are most likely to be wearing jeans or shorts and the atmosphere will be very laid back. However you are comfortable dressing on a normal day is how you should dress for us! A few folks will dress up, but most of us just wear what makes us the most comfortable. The Bible tells us clearly God does not look at our outward appearance, but at our hearts. We're far more concerned with your insides than your outside appearance!!!
There are three ways to donate at East Coast, none of which involves any type of pressure on those who have not decided what they would like to do to support the church. (1) If you would like to give onsite, there will be a table setup outside the main auditorium with designated offering containers. You may drop your donation before or after the program. (2) You may donate through the website by clicking “Online Giving ” and following the instructions. (3) You may mail donations to our mailing address.
East Coast starts and finishes on time. We understand you have a schedule to keep, and preachers can drag on for quite a while! Children’s ministry runs right at 60 minutes and our adult program will start at 10:30 and end at 11:30. We are committed to staying on schedule out of respect for you, our children’s workers, and especially for anyone you have brought with you to our program. |
